Description

On a medium blue disc edged gold, a coat of arms blazoned as follows:  Azure, a chevron enhanced Argent bearing grid lines throughout Sable, charged with a chevronel Vert; in base three arrows, one in pale and two in saltire Or enclosed by a pentagon of the like voided of the field; all within a bordure of the fifth; resting on top of the shield is an eagle with wings displayed and below the shield two sprigs of laurel fesswise all Or.

Supporters: A torch Argent enflamed Proper and a rolled scroll saltirewise Argent. All encircled by a dark blue designation band edged gold and inscribed with TEST RESOURCE MANAGEMENT CENTER around the top and DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE around the bottom in white letters.

Symbolism
The Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) plans and assesses the adequacy of the major range and test facilities within DOD. The DOD eagle, pentagon and medium blue color highlight the Center as a DOD organization. The TRMC reviews and provides oversight of proposed Department of Defense budgets and expenditures by: (1) reviewing and providing oversight of test and evaluation facilities and resources; (2) completing and maintaining the strategic plan required; and, (3) reviewing proposed budgets. These three areas of responsibility are represented by the three arrows. The arrows, adapted from the DOD seal, stand for the three branches of our Armed Forces on the DOD seal. The color gold and the laurel are refer to excellence and high achievement. Dark blue reflects the blue of our National colors. The chevron symbolizes support, and its grid emphasizes testing and evaluation. The green chevronel on the chevron with the grid lines alludes to a graph and the measurement of resources. The torch stands for the guidance and leadership that TRMC provides; the scroll signifies administration and follow-through.
